Days for Life Campaigns to Start Feb. 17 in Delaware
-
Dover and Wilmington will participate in the national 40
Days for Life campaign, which runs from February 17 – March 28, 2010. The effort
focuses on prayer and fasting as a means to end
abortion in America. By targeting specific local abortion clinics, it is hoped
that persistence will result in their closing. The effort, begun in 2006 by
David Bereit, national director of the campaign, has resulted in numerous
closings of abortion facilities, as well as conversions of clinic workers and
most importantly, thousands of saved babies.
A prayerful presence is needed consistently at the
Planned Parent-hood clinics during hours of operation. Both Delaware events are registered with the national campaign at
www.40daysforlife.com and those willing to participate may sign up on the
website calendars listed below or call Pat at 764-8633.
